The Ring of Steall is a real classic circular mountain route combining the traverse of four Munros.

The route takes in An Gearanach, Stob Choire a Chàirn, Am Bodach and then follows the Devils Ridge which involves some scrambling along a narrow, rocky Ridge taking us to Sgùrr a’Mhaim.

Situated between Ben Nevis and Loch Leven with its starting and finishing point being in Glen Nevis, this route takes in some spectacular scenery, including walking by the Falls of Steall, Scotland’s second highest waterfall.

With over 12 hours of walking up and down some very steep terrain it really did feel like we had earned these 4 munros. What an amazing day for such an epic hike.
